• Hello world!

Usually when you start a blog, you get the stock “Hello world!” title as default. In software, this is a decades old iconic smoke test to ensure that the environment is set up and configured correctly. The first thing you would be expected to do then, is to get rid of it and replace it with something sexier, critical, ironic, relevant. As you can see, I have not done this. Not because of a lack of promise with regards to sex, critique, irony or relevance, but because I have never looked at the first post of a blog before, so I am not entirely sure if what I have just said is actually true. This is pretty emblematic about the state of affairs in the tech industry if you think about it, so perhaps this is a good topic to start on. With any luck, I’ll figure out what this site is for and nobody will read this first post either.
